Oliegigant Shell heeft vorig jaar afgesloten met een slecht kwartaal. De nettowinst kwam in de laatste drie maanden van 2025 uit op 4,1 miljard euro.

Dat is een daling van 22 procent vergeleken met dezelfde periode een jaar eerder. Het concern kampte met flink lagere olieprijzen, hogere kosten en hogere belastingen.

De nettowinst kwam in 2025 in totaal uit op 17,8 miljard euro. Dat is 11 procent meer dan de 16,1 miljard euro nettowinst uit 2024.

But what happens when the families want them back? Esther Stevens’ life nearly ended as soon as it began.

She was born in 2007, in a village on the outskirts of Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city. Her mother died giving birth to her, and in the eyes of some villagers, that meant the baby was cursed.

Onder andere de gemeenten Tilburg en Eindhoven onderzochten moslims en islamitische instellingen zonder dat zij daarvan op de hoogte waren en zonder dat dit was toegestaan.

Archeologen hebben een grote onontdekte stad gevonden in het zuiden van Iran. De stad is mogelijk in de vierde eeuw voor Christus gesticht door Alexander de Grote aan de oevers van de Tigris en wordt daarom Alexandrië aan de Tigris genoemd.
